• You must be at least 18 years old to submit a Pre-application for any Housing Program.

• Before you begin the Pre-application, make sure you know the names, Social Security numbers and birth dates of all household members

• You must complete the entire Pre-application process for the Pre-application to be valid

• At the end of the online Pre-application process you will be given a confirmation number to confirm that your Pre-application has been successfully submitted. Be prepared to write this number down.

Public Housing Application Information

• While filling out the online Pre-application you will be asked to specify the area for which you are applying. You will be given three (3) options from which to chooseSouthern Dauphin County, Northern Dauphin County or both Southern and Northern.

• Southern Dauphin County sites are located in Steelton, Highspire, Middletown, and Swatara Township

• Northern Dauphin County sites are located in Lykens, Williamstown, Gratz and Wiconisco.

• If you have already submitted a Pre-application for Northern Dauphin County and want to be considered for Southern Dauphin County, you must submit a separate Pre-application.
